About the segment

Lighting for “Supermarkets”

Supermarket lighting does two jobs at once: even light across the sales floor and accent on the product in the displays. The floor takes a wide distribution and a stable colour temperature throughout; the displays take directional track spotlights with high CRI (90+), so that food looks fresh rather than grey. DALI control lets you split the floor into zones and change scenes through the day.

For chilled and fresh displays Quantula offers dedicated spectra for meat, fish, cheese and bread — they bring out the natural colour of the product without distorting it. A track system makes it easy to rearrange the floor for seasonal layouts, and high efficacy keeps the electricity bill down over a full trading day.
